New Purpsle Reference

A bit about Purpsle:

As my main (and favorite) character, I typically chose her to represent me. I wouldn't say that Purpsle and I have the same personality though. While I am not always known to take charge, Purpsle is willing to take the lead even for the most daunting tasks.

Likes: Pandy, Flowers, Nature, Quiet Places, The Night Sky, Mountains

Dislikes: Technology, Crowds, Metal, Oceans

Interesting Facts: Is deeply affected by the death of her pack. She feels somewhat responsible, but she's more angry at the reason it happened. She handles death relatively well, but it does get to her now and then.

History: (This is a work in progress, but I'm hoping that it will shed a bit of light on Purpsle as a character.)

Purpsle was born to a Wolven pack on the planet Turtanga, where she was a daughter of the alphas. Her coloring is relatively normal for their pack, but she was NOT born with the red markings, they were added LATER. Wolvens are not typically what we consider "natural" colors, but they do have long poofy tails, and no dew claws. Purpsle is built on the smaller side, and was never the best fighter growing up. Typical Wolvens are about Earth Wolf sized. She had a couple of brothers and sisters, but all of them left to found their own packs while Purpsle was content living under her parents. When her father died, Purpsle underwent a rigorous test to help determine the new Alpha. Her mother administered the test and after 3 days, Purpsle was selected from the 4 remaining pack members. A few days after the selection, Purpsle's mother died of old age. After taking over the Alpha position, Purpsle received her feathered barrette as a sign of leadership.

Purpsle was a kind and peaceful alpha. She did not war with the surrounding packs, but would discuss important matters when they arose. The pack was happy and healthy for three long years under Purpsle's guidance. One night she saw a shooting star and believed it was a sign of good fortune. However, the shooting star turned out to be one of thousands of meteorites beginning to rain down on Purpsle's planet. When she looked up higher, she saw one heading right for her pack's den. Everyone except her was sleeping inside of the den. As she raced towards her family, the meteorite exploded on top of the den and Purpsle fell down the cliff from the force. She landed safely, but was covered in rocks. Soon, she heard noises.

The noises were Pandy trying to remove the rubble. Pandy rescued Purpsle and they made a break for the portal Pandy had opened onto Purpsle's planet. Pandy guided Purpsle through the portal and she stuck by his side in his world. When Purpsle needed a weapon, Pandy took her to see Solartis, who fitted her with the red designs you see in the reference sheet. The designs were ingrained into her skin and fur similar to tattoos.

Weapon:

Purpsle's red designs are part of her weapon. They can glow faintly, but Purpsle often opts to leave them dark. When activated, the red lines and dots at as an anchor point to which a shield is attached. The shield floats about 2 feet in front of her nose and can be used to ram enemies. A ball floats at the tip of her tail and can be used for offensive clubbing moves.
